An exciting scenic flight to Lukla's Tenzing-Hillary Airport, followed by a light trek alongside the Dudh Koshi river to Phakding.
Cross suspension bridges, enter Sagarmatha National Park, and make a challenging final climb up to the vibrant Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar.
Hike up to the Everest View Hotel for the first panoramic sighting of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Explore local museum and market.
Walk along the scenic ridge before descending to Phunki Thenga. Climb through rhododendron forests to reach the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Descend to Deboche and cross the Imja Khola. Pass through Pangboche village and enter the wind-swept high valley of Dingboche.
Hike up Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for breathtaking views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Chalolatse. Rest in the afternoon.
Pass through Thukla and walk past the touching Everest memorial shrine. Continue along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche.
Trek to Gorakshep, have a quick lunch, and push forward over rocky moraines to stand at Everest Base Camp! Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Before dawn, climb Kala Patthar for the most spectacular sunrise over Mount Everest. Descend back down to Pheriche village.
Retrace your steps down the valley, passing through Pangboche and Tengboche, before arriving back to Namche Bazaar for a celebratory shower.
Walk down the long, steep slope to Phakding and continue back to Lukla airport. Evening celebration with the local crew.
Catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free for resting, massage, or souvenir shopping in Thamel.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight home.
